Planning Your Wedding Reception
The first things to consider when planning your wedding reception are room size and dining options. We have three rooms available for wedding receptions: a large elegant ballroom, which can accommodate 150-800 people, a banquet hall for groups up to 180, and a smaller room for up to 75. If you use our catering services and purchase a certain minimum amount in concessions, your room rent is waived. (Restrictions apply)
To help plan your meal, our full-service caterer offers a number of delicious menus from which to choose or you may create a unique menu to suit your tastes/budget.
Elegant Bridal Dinner
All dinner menus are served with fresh baked dinner rolls and butter. Linen tablecloths, linen napkins, china and glassware are included at no extra charge.
We offer three standard menu choices, allowing you to decide how much variety you want to offer your guests. With the above menu options, you can choose one of the three choices below:

Not sure how many to expect? Most people can follow the 70% guideline: for every 10 people you’ve invited to your wedding, plan for 7 to be there at your reception. We ask that you give us a final count one week prior to the event. We will prepare the number of dinners you request.
We suggest a Service Charge of 16% to 20% . We charge 19% if not told otherwise. This includes gratuity to your servers, skirting of the cake, punch, gift, and head tables, most set-up charges, and use of the building to decorate during regular business hours. There is a mandatory service charge of 10% on food and beverages for Ballroom services. This 10% is kept by the house as a service charge and is not negotiable, the remaining gratuity is given to the staff who serve your guests.
Food, decorations and room rent are subject to 6.875% MN state sales tax and 1% local sales tax. All liquor prices are subject to 10.875% sales tax. There is a $150 per hour charge if you wish the bar to remain closed at any time during the evening. All prices subject to change up to 30 days prior to the event.
Special drink orders must be placed at least 5 business days prior to the event. Special punch recipes can be prepared for an additional charge. As required by our liquor license, there is a $20 per bottle corking fee if you bring in your own wine or champagne. Drink tickets may be purchased before or during the evening. The total liquor bill must be paid the evening of the event. Please pay by cash, check or credit card (there is a 5% additional convenience charge).
There is a $150 charge for up to 250 people (.50 per piece after 250) to cut and serve your wedding cake. If you would like to provide plates and someone to cut your cake, we will serve it at no charge. We also offer a full range of desserts if you are interested in offering your guests something more.
